About Camp Fire Columbia

At Camp Fire, we believe that every child should have the opportunity to find and pursue their spark – a passion that encourages them to set and achieve goals for personal growth. Our comprehensive program starts with early intervention at the elementary level, bridges the learning gap for middle school students, and helps youth thrive and plan for bright futures in high school. Camp Fire’s portfolio of programs utilizes best practices in after-school programming, mentoring, summer resident camps, and unique experiential learning activities. Our holistic methods provide kids with enriching activities like music and art, positive role models, and access to services that help provide for basic needs.

In 2013-14, Camp Fire served over 3,700 youth in more than 20 schools in the Portland metro area and at our renowned 550-acre summer camp, Namanu.
